Torrie says of this painting, "It starts with wandering around the wine aisle at the store, searching for that special bottle....it really has very little to do with the wine, it is all about the bottle. This is a 2002 Georges Duboeuf Merlot Reserve." This is a brightly colored abstract bottle with poppies on the label along with a glass of wine. "Glass of Merlot" was painted using professional artist grade acrylic paint on a deep gallery wrapped canvas with painted sides to allow for display without a frame. It measures 12" x 24" x 1.5"
