Winter Wonderlands

Here in southeast Michigan there's about a foot of snow on the ground, and the thermometer sits at 12.8 degrees F. (Thank goodness for that .8 degrees, or it would be beastly cold!) Everyone I know complains that it's too cold, they're tired of shoveling snow, and they're sick of winter. But I'm one of those rare and perverse people who happens to love winter. To me there's nothing quite as beautiful as a snow covered landscape glistening in the sun, or under the moon and stars. I love the crisp air and the still quietness. I was happy to discover artists and photographers on Etsy who have captured that special beauty, and I'm glad to share some of these works with you. You can find more winter art on Etsy by typing "winter landscapes interiordesignteam" into the search box. Happy exploring!

If you are lucky enough to live in a winter landscape, I hope you appreciate the beauty of it. If you live in a warmer climate, I hope you understand that warm is nice, but cold has it's own special rewards!
