Interview with Peacox Creations

Who are you?
Patti Cox-Charles

Where are you located?
Kohler, Wisconsin USA

What do you create?
I create pine needle baskets, crocheted items.

Where do you sell your creations?
I sell here on ETSY http://peacoxcreations.etsy.com andat craft shows (I have one coming up in Milwaukee in September) and to folks in the area.

Where do you create?
I've crafted almost anywhere you can imagine and actually wrote a song parody about that which you can read if you like at http://patti-peacox.blogspot.com/2008/03/with-abject-apologies-to-johnny- cash.html. But mostly I craft here at home, in our den!

What inspires you?
I'm inspired by life in general and many specific things. Often when I get yarn, or paper, or pine needles in my hands, something pops into my head!

Is your Etsy shop a full-time job, part-time job, or hobby?
My etsy shop is a hobby...I'm a retired Spanish and English teacher.

What type of marketing is the most effective for you?
Word of mouth is an effective way of promoting for me and I find that Etsy teams help a great deal as well.

What do you do when you are not creating?
When I'm not creating, I love to spend time with my wonderful husband and family and great friends! Also I love to read and travel.

What are your goals?
My goals in crafting are to create useful items and make them as pretty as possible so folks love to use them.

Is there anything else you would like to share with us?
I'd like to mention how much I enjoy being a member of this fantastic team. I love making treasuries and with ITD it's more of a joy than ever!

Stunning baskets. I have always admired Guatemalan pine needle baskets. I envy the creation of such lovely things.
